صدمة وسباق مع الوقت.. صور توثق فاجعة زلزالي فنزويلا

منذ اللحظة التي مزق فيها زلزالان عنيفان هدوء مدن عديدة في فنزويلا مساء الأربعاء، يعيش الفنزوليون ظروفا صعبة، بين النزوح والفقد والبحث عن ذويهم العالقين، وسط تقديرات بأن عدد القتلى قد يتجاوز 10 آلاف شخص، وفق آخر تحذيرات لهيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكية.

وأعلنت السلطات الفنزويلية اليوم الجمعة ارتفاع حصيلة الضحايا إلى 235 قتيلا و4300 جريح، بينما تستمر جهود البحث عن ناجين تحت أنقاض المباني التي انهارت جراء الزلزالين.

وقد أُبلغ عن فقدان الآلاف جراء الزلزالين اللذين بلغت قوتهما 7.2 و7.5 درجات على مقياس ريختر، ويُعدان من بين الأقوى في فنزويلا منذ أكثر من قرن، وقد شعر بهما السكان في جميع أنحاء المنطقة.
